" Attaining dreams that others think impossible....."
Registered Alpine Dairy Goats

Ebony is heavily linebred on Khartoum.  She has an extraordinary udder that screams her pedigree with a beautiful escutcheon arch, plumb teats and a perfect medial.  She would have appraised an E in mammary but was not fresh long enough to do so this year.  She has beautiful length of bone, and good width.  Her dairy character is fabulous, but that is no surprise considering her parentage.  The V dairy character in her appraisal truly puzzled me. Below is some info on her sire, Khartoum, and shows the consistency within his line and the lines he has produced.

It has been somewhat amusing while showing her and Serrana this year.   When shown at the same shows they consistently swap places between 1st and 2nd in the yearling milking class.  Both have their own strengths and are very closely matched.

This doe is going to only get more amazing as she matures.  She is a lovely part of the herd and with her loving and low key temperament has certainly secured her place on the farm.

Quote from Shari Reyna's MT Zion Website:

" I had long admired Lynn Benedict's animals and purchased this particular buck because his pedigree
combines the best of conformation and milk production.  His dam, Kenya, was the
1998 Reserve National Grand Champion, with a lifetime production record of 2561d, 21,950m, 863f, 705p.

Khartoum's daughters are uniformly outstanding.  He particularly puts on foreudders to die for!
On top of that ...they milk!  Check him out on the
ADGA website!"

Many thanks to Shari Reyna, from Mt. Zion Dairy Goats, for allowing us the opportunity to breed these fine genetics into our herd.

Thanks, Shari!
